Cookie Policy

Saiyō runs a deliberately lightweight cookie footprint. We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell, share or rent personal data.

What we set

  • Strictly necessary: session cookies needed to keep the site functional (e.g. cookie consent state, theme preference). No personal data is collected.
  • Analytics: we use a privacy-first analytics tool that does not set cross-site tracking cookies, does not collect IP addresses in identifiable form and is fully GDPR-compliant by design.

What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No third-party social trackers (Facebook Pixel, TikTok, X).
  • No fingerprinting or session recording.

Embedded third parties

Some pages embed Calendly for booking calls. When you interact with the embed, Calendly may set its own cookies, governed by their privacy policy.

HubSpot analytics (opt-in)

If you accept cookies, we load HubSpot's analytics script to understand site usage and identify which companies are visiting (via reverse IP lookup). HubSpot sets the following cookies:

  • __hstc — main visitor tracking cookie (domain, utk, initial timestamp, last visit, current visit, session number). Expires after 6 months.
  • hubspotutk — unique visitor token used to tie a visitor to a contact record. Expires after 6 months.
  • __hssc — current session cookie (resets after 30 minutes of inactivity).
  • __hssrc — session-restart flag, used internally by HubSpot. Session cookie.

Purpose: visitor analytics and company-level traffic identification. You can decline at any time by clearing the consent choice in your browser; the script will not load on subsequent visits.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and block them at any time using your browser settings. Doing so will not break core site functionality.

Form submissions and contact identification

When you submit a form on saiyo.io (e.g. contact, demo request, playbook download, newsletter signup), we send the information you provide to our CRM (HubSpot) so we can respond and keep a record of your enquiry. If you have previously accepted analytics cookies, your submitted email may also be used to identify your existing HubSpot session, linking your prior site activity to your contact record. You can object to this at any time by emailing privacy@saiyo.io.
