Top of Funnel (Sourcing)
The earliest stage of the hiring funnel: identifying and engaging potential candidates before they enter the formal interview process.
Top-of-funnel sourcing refers to the work of identifying, researching and engaging candidates before they have formally applied to a role. Strong top-of-funnel work is the largest single driver of hiring outcomes: shortlist quality, time to fill and offer-acceptance rates all correlate strongly with the volume and calibre of candidates entering the pipeline.
