Time to Shortlist

The number of days between role kickoff and the delivery of the first calibrated candidate shortlist.

Time to Shortlist measures the elapsed time between a role kickoff and the delivery of the first calibrated shortlist (typically 3 to 5 candidates). It is a leading indicator of hiring velocity and is far more useful than time-to-hire, which is contaminated by interview-process speed. Saiyō averages 7 to 14 days to first shortlist.
